Jo Cunningham

Jo advises clients:

• primarily on employee ownership, offering clients support and advice from the early stages through to post completion;
• on other transactions which are either ancillary to EOTs, such as asset transfers or alternatives to EOTs, for example share buybacks.

Jo graduated in law with LLB (Hons) from Bristol University and qualified in 1992. She trained and practised as a company/commercial lawyer in a number of City practices then moved in-house to advise firstly, a well-known entrepreneur, followed by being part of the legal team within a FTSE 100 company. Jo joined Postlethwaite in 2021 (for the first time) and was with us for a couple of years and re-joined us again in January 2026.
