Postlethwaite proud to announce it is now B Corp certified
This summer marks another milestone for us. Already leading experts in employee ownership we are now sealing our commitment to societal and environmental accountability: Postlethwaite has become B Corp certified.
B Corp is a worldwide movement of over 8000 companies all striving for positive change for the world around us. The ‘B’ stands for ‘Benefit for all’.
What is B Corp Certification?
- B Corp certification demands rigorous accountability and ongoing obligations across five domains: governance workers community environment and clients.
- Certification is awarded by B Lab a global non-profit network.
A Natural Evolution from Employee Ownership to also being B Corp
For over two decades Postlethwaite has specialised in helping businesses to become employee owned. In March 2023 we ourselves transitioned to become 100% employee-owned via an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) affirming our values-driven approach.
Becoming a B Corp is for us an important progression where we will continue to improve our engagement with our employees and community as well as embedding social and environmental purpose into what we do in a formal and transparent way.
